Character Analysis

Pi in the Life of Pi has changed a lot over the years. I think of Pi as a wealthy good man, good manner, and is just perfect at most moments. Pi takes responsibly all the time. He takes religion seriously just like his life. Pi would be a great role model for someone young because it can get them ready for life and how responsible you need to be when you get older. Religion is the very first thing that Pi is in love with. He works very hard in his life for his religion and he is working on his second and third religion he is going to learn.

At the beginning of the book Pi loved to learn religions and he got so in to it that he wanted to get better at learning other ones. He pushed himself to get better at this and he studied hard and finished his second religion. Then he wanted to learn more again and learned his third. He really did change in this because he went from being a regular kid of being in one religion to being a kid who is amazing at learning religions and achieved the goal of three religions. Also his house was described as a present-day home and he didn't like that so he made it with religious designs. His house was no longer a present-day home.

Another one is where he undergoes a physical change of being a vegetarian to being a guy who can eat anything he can. He over achieved this because he was stranded on a boat with only animals surrounding him. This was the only way he was going to stay alive was by undergoing his vegetarian thing and eat some meat. This is very helpful for him because then he get stronger.

In this book there is a lot of other changes. Some changes can be good and others can be bad. Pi in these situations of the books are good ones. At the beginning of the book was just a regular old plain teen who has wondered around his little village. Until the day when he changed and wanted to get better at what he does best which is learn more religions.
